A day in the life of

My first Autonomic assignment was for Rockwell Automation in Capelle aan de IJssel and Aarau (Switzerland). It was a very challenging assignment (connection SAP and Peoplesoft) as SAP was completely new to Rockwell. First thing to do was the technical installation and configuration of SAP (EP, CRM, PI) from Capelle and later structuring and transferring knowledge from Switzerland. This meant each Sunday evening or Monday morning on the plane to Zurich and Thursday afternoon back home. At this moment, I am working on migrations and upgrades for the Dutch Tax Office. Later this year, there is still a challenging BI task on the planning and possibly a unicode conversion. Within this assignment I am working together with another Autonomic colleague who is managing an Enterprise Portal implementation. The SAP division of the Dutch Tax Office is extremely well organized. Exciting projects and appreciation, a great assignment!
